About
Gunnislake Woodland Centre was established in 1998 with an aim to provide a suitable space for the social welfare of the elderly and/or disabled people living in Gunnislake.
Due to changing demographics in the village since then that initial scope has been widened and it is now a resource for the whole village to use, providing a space that can be used for social or business purposes; for advice, companionship and much more.
Regular events held at the centre include a number of U3A groups, church groups (including an after-school club), a weekly baby group and a regular friendship group, who provide cheap hot meals for anyone who attends.
We are an ideal space for training events, meetings and small groups, available to hire at an excellent rate!

Please note the centre does not have any dedicated parking. There is a small car park to the rear and limited on-street parking in front and as such space cannot be guaranteed. The main village car park is a short 5-10 minute walk, with free parking for up to 2 hours.

Booking Information and Availability
Our current hire charge is £12 for up to a booking of up to 4 hours. If you are interested in a repeat booking please contact us and we will be happy to arrange this (availability dependent).
We also require a security deposit of £25, which will be returned up to 3 working days after your event, subject to a satisfactory check of the centre.
If you would like to call us our telephone line is not manned so please leave us a message stating the Woodland Centre and we will get back to you shortly.
Please note that a booking of the hall constitutes an acceptance of our terms and conditions of hire, which can be found here. These include specific responsibilities that all hirers must adhere to, or risk the loss of the deposit.
